Description

Tried my hands at one of the most challenging aspects of astrophotography (after busting a hole in the wallet): Post processing

Decided to take the effort to learn Tone-Mapping, which arguably produces the best results. I didn't give it much thought till i decided to push my sub-par data collected to its limits. How will it fare?

I don't expect it to be great as

1. Light leak was present (discovered soon after)

2. Sky noise + clouds (meaning very VERY grainy images)

3. 5 minutes of exposures = not so perfect stars (my equipment is one of the cheapest)

The result? Tone-Mapping does wonders but it took me around 7-8 hours. Worth it!
