Description

The Fish Head Nebula (IC 1795) is a star-forming region found approximately 6,000 light years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia.  It forms part of the Heart Nebula (IC 1805).  

IC 1795 was photographed between  11 December 2021 and 9 February 2022.   Capture details are as follows:

Telescope: TEC140
Camera: QSI 690
Filters: Astrodon
Mount: 10 Micron GM2000HPS

Ha: 30 x 1200s
OIII: 30 x 1200s
SII: 30 x 1200s

A total of 30 hours exposure.
