Description

This image was captured on June-2013 during the 6th Brazilian Meeting of Astrophotography and was sitting on my HD so far. The elevation of Cocoon was ranging from 5 to 20 deg during the two days of capture.

Despite the conditions, Cocoon has +47 deg declination, it is possible to see some details on the nebula's surface, as well as part of B168, the dark nebula surrounding Coccon that extends to west (right hand on the image).
