Description

This object is actually a Planetary Nebula even though it doesn't appear so.  The parent star is apparently speeding through the interstellar medium and interacting with it.  The result is a bow shock effect as the star is closer to the brighter side of the nebula.  Fainter wisps of nebula is trailing off the backside.  The whole thing is said to be about 8500 light years away.

This image will be my last with my trusty ZWO ASI1600mm.  I have upgraded to a new and much larger QHY 268mm.  After being on backorder for almost a year, I finally got mine!
Can't wait to get it going.

The image is a HaSHO mix.  RGB stars were Photometrically Calibrated and used as well.
