Description

NGC 891 is an unbarred spiral galaxy in the constellation of Andromeda. It is supposed to be around 30 millions lys from us. There are a lot of background galaxies in the picture. One of them is 2MASX J02235365+4212218 which is at z = 0.04 which makes a distance of more than 600 millions lys...It is the tiny spiral galaxy on the East (left side of the picture), not very far from the brilliant star HD14771 on the left edge. I also found galaxies with m = 17, quite remarkable for a 4.5 inch refractor.
