Description

Basically a 2 colour image taken with the L-Enhance filter with stars imported from my colour camera. Deleting the too blue stars associated with the L-Enhance filter and replacing them with the colour camera stars has been troublesome and lengthy. I tried using StarXterminator to remove the too blue stars but it caused the nebula to be more blurred and messed it up a bit. I did this with a late stage processed image but when I tried it before much stretching, it made things worse.
I tried adding in some data from my monochrome camera but it made things worse. Could it be for nebula with the extra resolution available, because they are spread over a large area, mono data doesn't increase fine detail and it only does so on enlarged small galaxies?

Aligning the images manually with one image taken with an 8" Newtonian and the other with a 5" has been quite trying. I wouldn't normally do this.
Any comments and help in processing ideas most welcome. I am transitioning from colour to colour and mono cameras plus filters.
I only have DSS and Photoshop available.
