Description

Here's the Ha data of this area in Cassiopeia. For context, it's just south of ced 214 and northwest of Caph, with the Cave Nebula would be the western point of a roughly equilateral triangle containing both SNRs. The SNR names carry the G for Dave Green, who published this catalog. G116.5 is the larger object top center. The Little Rosette Nebula, aka Sharpless 2-170, is the bright object top right; note its resemblance [minus the large central "hole"] to the much much larger Rosette Nebula. G114 is near G116, but isn't readily obvious yet; more data is needed to locate it. When conditions permit I will gather OIII data for an HOO version. Target area is quickly becoming hard to catch; I need to start as soon as it's dark and chase it as it descends in the west. The Borg 55 triplets are the asset that makes this possible.
