Description

This is my first collaborative project with my new Astro buddy @Kevan Noble and also my first time using WBPP for integration. We chose to image this faint supernova remnant and Ha region in Auriga as it needed a significant amount of integration time, especially for the OII signal which is extremely faint. We managed to capture over 60 hours of data between us from our Bortle 4 and Bortle 5 locations here in the UK. This has been an enjoyable and demanding project and we've both learnt a huge amount, bouncing ideas off each other during both the acquisition and processing stages. I now feel a lot more proficient using Pixinsight as a result, thanks to Kevan's experience.

@Kevan Noble had the following to say about our project:
This is also my first collaboration and I have really enjoyed the process. It required many hours of effort, not only in capture but synchronising framing, keeping tally of what we have captured, and then the integration of our Master Lights which was difficult. Having slightly different focal lengths and camera pixel size added to the challenge. A benefit of the collaboration is I have made a new Astro buddy, and besides helping each other, we are pushing each other to step up our game so we can do our best to present a worthy image. Looking forward to the next image with Andy.
