Description

LDN66, also known as Barnard 72 and the Snake Nebula, is seen here against the densely packed sea of stars near the galactic core of the Milky Way galaxy. It's located in the constellation of Ophiuchus, and is made up of a dark patch of dust obscuring the dense star cloud behind it and is accompanied by other dark nebulae. Being an IT person, I see it as the S: drive nebula, and once you see the S:, you can't unsee it!
