Description

LRGB

Beautiful M3 is the second most popular Globular in size and studied behind M13, the Hercules. It is estimated to have over 500,000 stars.

Fun Fact:
Even though labeled as M3, this was the first Messier object discovered by Charles Messier on May 3, 1764. Initially he thought it was a Nebula but was later confirmed by William Hershel in 1784.

Thanks, Eddie
