La estrella Flameante SHORGB / Flaming Star SHORGB

Hace algunas semanas que estoy empezando a llevar la gestión del color de Pixinsight a Photoshop. El control que tienes en cuanto al color en Photoshop es mucho mayor que el de Pixi. Esta es la primera imagen que realizo siguiendo esta nueva estrategia en la que conjugo ambas herramientas: Pixi para toda la parte previa al estirado y algunos ajustes posteriores y Ps para el tratamiento del color por canales.

Desde que empecé a hacer astrofotografía, además, mi intención es procurar mostrar lo que realmente ahí allá arriba. Esta imagen me permitía jugar con eso pues conjuga señal de banda estrecha en la nebulosa de emisión junto con otra señal RGB en la nebulosa de reflexión. Y si bien es cierto que tengo muy pocos datos en RGB para esta nebulosa de reflexión, he conseguido resaltarla. Ya tengo trabajo con esta nebulosa: sacar más RGB para potenciar el efecto.

I've been starting to bring Pixinsight color management into Photoshop for a few weeks now. The control you have over color in Photoshop is much better than in Pixi. This is the first image I've made following this new strategy in which I combine both tools: Pixi for all the pre-stretch and some post-stretch adjustments and Ps for the color treatment by channels.

Since I started to do astrophotography, my intention is to try to show what is really up there. This image allowed me to play with that as it combines a narrow band signal in the emission nebula with another RGB signal in the reflection nebula. And while it is true that I have very little RGB data for this reflection nebula, I have managed to highlight it. I already have work to do with this nebula: get more RGB to enhance the effect.

Submitted The date and time when you submitted this image for IOTD/TP consideration.	...
Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
