Description

The Gecko Nebula is a molecular cloud riding along the large emission nebula SH2-126 in the constellation Lacerta the Lizard. It is a very faint object, so I took my time imaging over 12 nights late summer of 2022, gathering over 30 hours of data. This was a very different object for me and a different approach to processing. I learned a few new tricks to bring out more of the delicate dust cloud, thanks to Adam Block and his amazing tutorials.
