Description

Last week, I posted a narrowband-focused image obtained from my backyard Bortle Bad skies with an unusual color palette.  That was fun, but I wanted to see what my LRGB data contained from the same field, which I now present here after reprocessing the data from the beginning.  For this, I blended in a bit of Ha data to bring out the dimmer gas, and just a tiny hint of extra OIII (I didn't bother adding any SII data here).  I'm pleased with this natural result, which is always my favorite way to shoot bright targets like this.  I'm sure this will attract little if any attention here (who wants to look at another photo of the Rosette Nebula anyway?)... but sometimes it's nice to work with easy, bright data like this instead of struggling with impossibly dim things.
