Description

This astrophotograph of Cederblad 51 was captured using a combination of RGB and hydrogen alpha-filters. RGB filters are used to capture the red, green, and blue light emitted by the nebula, while hydrogen alpha-filters are used to capture the light emitted by the background inoized hydrogen of the nebula.

These filters allow for a more detailed and accurate representation of the nebula's true colors and structure. To ensure the highest quality data, I traveled to a dark site, far away from city lights and other sources of light pollution.

This allowed for the capture of clear and detailed images of the nebula without the interference of man-made light sources.Once the image was captured, it was meticulously edited in Pixinsight including Continuum Subtraction to attain a better Hydrogen alpha-channel.
