Description

Tesing the new ZWO ASI 6200 Color full frame CMOS under a very polluted sky.

In my house in Brescia the sky is very bright, and with the moon almost full it is even more: SQM 18.2

But I was impatient to try this new camera, so I pointed the telescope in the direction of cygnus, the swan.

I think the result is remarkable given the shooting location and the relatively short exposure.

Unfortunately I had to crop the image heavily: the field flattener was positioned at the wrong distance from the sensor, but I didn't have the appropriate spacer rings at the moment.
