Sharpless 170 (Sh2-170) or LBN 117.62+02.29, also called the Small Rosette, is an emission nebula in constellation Cassiopeia.

Embedded in the centre of the nebula is the small open cluster Stock 18. Sh 2-170 is in the vicinity of the Cas OB5 supershell and about 10 000 l.y. away. The only exciting star of Sh 2-170 is DM+63 2093, which is a massive (about 30 solar masses) O8V star.

Located close to the much more prominent NGC 7822, this small Sharpless object is not a common imaging target.
