Description

IC 1805, the Heart Nebula. It lies roughly 3,000 light years from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia. It's colors are primarily driven by the large stars that inhabit the nebula. The cluster also apparently contained a micro-quasar at one point. This image is roughly 4.5 hours of data total and is mapped at R: .8 SII + .2 Ha, G: .5 Ha + .5 OIII, and B: OIII. This results in the relatively 'normal' looking stars despite being a 'false color' palette.
