Sharpless2-248, IC443 The Jellyfish nebula
My second visit to this celestial Jellyfish, this time using the ASKAR FRA400 F3,9.
I collected five thousand years old photons to produce this image, taken over three nights of imaging in February 2023.
The nebula is a supernova remnant in the constellation Gemini, The Twins, in a distance of more or less than 5000 lightyears from earth
The brightest star in the image is Propus, Eta Geminorum, which is a red giant of magnitude 3,25
Here is a an exellent image of the same object of @Uwe Deutermann
