Description

NGC1491 is a small emission nebula in the constellation Perseus. The central portion of the nebula contains an 8th magnitude star who's very strong stellar winds are pushing the ionized gasses away, creating a bubble like effect. NGC1491 is surrounded by several other larger bright nebula shown in the image.
