Description

In the Constellation of Cassiopeia, about 6000 light years from earth in the Perseus spiral arm of the Milky Way Galaxy we find this beautiful and appealing region of space.  Nearly 580 light years across they form vast star forming complex.

The two prominent bubbles are formed by dust being blown by radiation and solar wind from the stars formed within these stellar nurseries.

This image was taken over 6 nights in September and October from Earth both from home (Bainbridge Island) and from Goldendale Sky Village.
