Description

This image is the first in a number of ways for me.

1. First light with my Askar FRA400
2. First image with an AM5 mount
3. First image I've captured and processed with my ASIAir
4. Fist image I've I've captured using 2 dual narrowband images , L-Ultimate and Altair Astro OIII/SII Dual Band Ultra

I also captured this image in RGB which I will be a separate post. I did use the RGB stars with this image. The processing with the 2 dual narrowband filters was relatively simple. I followed the tutorial by Cuiv the Lazy Geek on YouTube. Essentially, you just assign the HA data from the extracted red channel in the L-Ultimate filter, the SII data is from the red channel in the Altair Astro filter and the OIII data is from the blue/green channels in both filters. The rest is just traditional SHO processing, nice and easy.
