Description

Less than 30 degrees in altitude when imaging started, the 39 x 120 exposures held their HFR down until 10 degrees off the horizon.  My elevation ,at a little over 2300m, helped but the atmospheric dispersion played havoc on the prismatic effect on the stars.  Luckily the transparency and sky stability were excellent.  I did have to play musical telescopes by finding the one good outcrop on the granite dome I setup on to shoot between the Sierra Mountain gaps- the beauty of a remote setup.  I might have a few good nights left on this target with lower power and wider fields to keep the stars acceptable.
