Description

Another test of what can be done under the moon. It was a little over 50% illuminated and rose around midnight.  Besides blowing out the stars with 30s exposures I'm not a fan of the uneven diffraction around the bright stars.  Some amount of diffraction artifacts are unavoidable because of the need to run cable across the aperture. at the moment I'm using the typical semicircular cable guide.  I think I may try 3D printing a + shaped cable guide to make the obstruction more symmetrical and to give the stars the newtonian treatment.
