Description

First attempt at Horsehead and Flame Nebula. I wanted to start with one that was easy to find. (Near Alnitk). I used a WO Z61 on a Skyguider Pro mount. I intended to get about 4 hours of 4 minute exposures, but my guiding didn't work and my battery ran out after 1 hour. Also I tripped over my mount removing the Batinov mask and didn't take the time to redo my polar alignment. So I ended up with 28 x 2 min exposures. (DSS only stacked 17 of them) I had an adjustable WO Flat 61 Field Flattener, but I forgot to adjust it so it didn't work. The stars look like footballs in the corners.
