Description

IC342  is a very large galaxy hidden behind the Milky Way.  At the Nebraska Star Party 2021, this was one of the challenge objects.  In the individual 3 minute subs, the galaxy is BARELY visible.  Processing induced the EX Processing suite, then DBE, curves, histogram transforms to bring out the very faint outer spiral arms.  This was on a night with a steady 10kt wind before the skies became hazy with smoke.
