Description

Well we have been fortunate to have several clear nights with the current heatwave but of course our natural satellite wanted in on the act! Nevertheless mustn't complain as its given me some good sky time
Many beautifull and deep images of the Tulip on AstroBin notably @Michael Feigenbaum's recent image, this is my humble addition to the collection. The area is rich in HII emission but lacking in a similar amount of OIII  despite the 4.6h of integration. Maybe it's my Optolong OIII filter? so maybe I'll have to take out another mortgage and buy an Antlia/Chroma or similar.
Anyhow I've processed as best as I can rather than devote another few hours to get a stronger OIII signal. I also took RGB for the stars but Moonlight reflections put paid to that.

Clear skies,
Rob
