Description

I originally captured this target in Jan. 2022 with just over 18 hours and mentioned I probably needed 60 plus hours to get better detail.  Well I did not quite get to 60, but our Astronomy Club is tackling this project, so between all of us we should easily exceed 60.

Anyway SH2-224 is Sh2-224 is a very faint supernova remnant in the constellation Auriga and is located just 3.5 ° Southeast of the bright star Capella.

The mouse over does show several PGC galaxies and if you zoom in, you can see some detail.
