Description

This is a standard SHO (Hubble Palette) image. I experimented with different ways to combine SHO but found that the simple channel combination of Sii in Red, Ha in Green and Oiii in Blue was the most pleasing to me. I have been refining my NB  workflow as follows:
Dynamic Crop and DBE to individual masters
Channel combination
Another application of DBE
SCNR
Make synthetic  luminance from individual masters
Combine synthetic luminance with SHO image using LRGB Combine
Apply Noise X
Create Starless Image and Stars with Star X
Another application of Noise X on Starless image
Process Starless image - LHE, MNT Sharpening, HT and Curves, Color Masks
Darkened stars a little with HT
Combined Starless and Stars

This workflow seemed to give me more control over colors - at least it gave me the colors I was looking for but I undoubtedly will fiddle around with this some more.
