Description

This beautiful pair of galaxies called "Antenna Galaxies" is located in the southern constellation Corvus in a distance of about 66 million light years.
The two galaxies started interacting with each other a few hundred million years ago, since then a massive star forming process is constantly happening in the so called super star clusters.

I took this LRGB image during my astro trip to La Palma last year in March and finally took the time to process the data.
The seeing was not very good, but in the end I'm quite happy with the details in the galaxies core.
I hope you like the final result!
