Description

over 50 subs taken, most of them were bad.  This was before I cleaned and re-greased the EQ6-R Pro, and got better at guiding.  I kept taking out subs until I had something that was not trash, then used the new tools to clean it up.  BlurX works fantastic, but only to a point, after which streaked stars look way wrong.  Sadly this is only 8 subs once I was done.  I really, want to get 3-4 hours of data on this target when I get the chance.  If I could have doubled the nuber of usable subs, I could have removed the satellite trails.  As it is, I tried to de-emphasize them, but they are still there.

Working through all this old data is helping me get better at processing and working on a viable workflow for when I get better at data collections.  The weather and work up here have conspired to limit my astronomy time to a few weekends a season, most of those I spend doing visual work with the imaging running automated on the side.

I still have a few more of these older data sets that I hope to process into something worth documenting.  It will be very interesting to come back to these images next year and compare what I was able to do and how far I advance my skills.
