Description

The four formations mentioned in the title (cirque, or walled plains) are declined on the image of the left to the right and then down.
Beyond the interesting features such as the central peaks that cast their shadows into the arena, it is above all the general aspect that struck me, with this contrast between the dark area of the lunar limb and that well lit by the sun. There is like a symmetry of pace between them.
