Description

Like a serpent eating its own tail, I'm coming back to the first globular cluster I imaged back in early 2021. In hindsight I wish I'd gathered more time on this, but it's heartening to see the improvement in colour, star-shape and the density of resolved stars. Globulars are such interesting objects to process!

Title: 2024 Reprocess

Description: With the new AI for BlurXterminator, and another year's experience with PI, I wanted to try reprocessing M3 to see I could improve upon my last effort. The core is a bit dimmer this time, but I'm much happier with the individual stars. The rotation has also been adjusted to a more typical view of M3, and the crop is slightly wider so that NGC 5263 is still visible. I have also changed my blackpoint to 24,24,24 as I was finding my images too dark.
