This is my first attempt at composing a mosaic. I had a few hours of clear skies in a month when it's raining every day, so I tried to leverage that time and use a few frames I had previously taken from the Carina Nebula back in February.
Many challenges here: different filters, exposures, framing, etc; but the hardest of all is to get the hang on how to deal with mosaics on PixInsight. Maybe the key learning here was to always leave a big overlay margin: 10% was not nearly enough, I completely lost 2 more Panels that did not connect to any other and therefore were rendered useless for this test.
The result obviously is not great, but I like being able to see my own progress; I'm leaving this as a register of my first mosaic because it also doesn't necessarily suck that bad either
