Description

Heart Nebula (IC 1805) is a large emission nebula located about 7500 light years from our solar system in the constellation of Cassiopeia. Its large diffuse regions have zones of ionized hydrogen (HII) and zones of oxygen (OIII). At its center we find a large open star cluster (melotte 15) composed of very young blue giant stars while on the right side we find the particular IC1795 better known as Fish Head Nebula due to its particular shape. The focal length did not allow me to frame the whole subject in the best possible way, so I concentrated on the details of the Melotte and the Fish Head.
