I used my powerful Nikkor 300 f/2,8 and 4 filters for this image of the area around Propus (eta Gem). The Jellyfish nebula is clearly visible, with M35, NGC 2158, and the Monkey Head Nebula are a bonus. Many other minor nebulae are visible. I posted also a super-streched version to show the faintest parts. Postprocessing, as always, by @Edoardo Luca Radice (Astroedo). 270 min in Ha, plus 1 hr per channel RGB.

Diverse altre strutture sono visibili, specie nella versione "super tirata". Post processing di @Edoardo Luca Radice (Astroedo), che non ringrazierò mai abbastanza! 270 minuti in Ha, un'ora per canale RGB.

Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members. |
