Description

This was the best I could focus using LiveView on Polaris after taking the moon picture. The Polaris image in the viewfinder did appear sharp but turbluent at the moon focus. I refocused until Polaris appeared as small as I could make it. It will be nice when I get the new bahtinov focusing mask. I have the MPCC installed but see coma in this image, possibly because I am still using the factory collimation. I need to get my own collimation tools and learn to use them. I made a collimation cap which seems to indicate the scope is slightly out of collimation. This image was taken with the mount not tracking because I am waiting for my new power supply.

This test shot is a jpeg straight out of the camera. The background is brighter than my other out-of-focus shots because a thin cloud was passing by.
