RGB was captured during 36 min from bortle 8.
Main image is SHO and has SNR of 75. Then there is RGB annotation.
O3 is very week, and B panel was used to add blue.
Panel A: SHO

Processing:
Cropping for Ha, O3, S2, R, G and B
GraXpert for each panel.
RGB are combined.
DBE for RGB. 4 points were used.
Color Colib for RGB
Blur and Noise XT for Ha, O3, S2, B and RGB panels
Star XT for Ha, O3, S2, B and RGB. RGB stars were kept, B, Ha, O3 and S2 stars were discarded.

Manual stretching (with HT) for Ha, O3, S2, B, RGB (no stars), and RGB-stars.
Stretched RGB-stars were saved as two files (more and lesser stretched)

RGB no stars were masked by Lum.
Local Histogram Equalization: Kernel radius of 40 and 150
Multiscale-median transform for sharpness; strong 0.4-0.5 setting.
Curves: brightness is manipulated
Mask off.
Added RGB stars ("more stretched" version).

Combine O3 and B panels in PixelMath.
Combined S, H and O+B as R-G-B
Noise XT
Stretched again.
Played with Hue-Saturation until final image. Foraxx did not work. PixelMath was not used.
Lum for SHO was used as mask
Local Histogram Equalization: Kernel radius of 20, 150 and then 300 (histogram resolution is 10-bit!)
Multiscale-median transform for sharpness; strong 0.4-0.5 setting.
Curves: brightness is manipulated
Yellow-Red was manipulated with separate Yellow mask.
Mask off.
Added RGB stars ("lesser stretched" version).

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
