Description

NGC 1275 (also known as Perseus A or Caldwell 24) is a type 1.5 Seyfert Galaxy located around 237 million light years away in the direction of the  Constellation Perseus. NGC 1275 is a member of the large Perseus Cluster of galaxies (Abell 426).  About two dozen galaxies are visible in this field.
This picture was done in 2014 with a basic C8 with focal reducer and a QHY9 ccd camera. It would certainly benefit of more exposition time and the better telescope and camera that I own today (2023).
