Description

So it's no M87 that's for sure! Rather the dark nebula Bernes 145. Try as I might, it was hard to find anything written about this object beyond it being dark and a nebula, so not much in the way of insights to share, perhaps someone has more data on this object. For example, I notice what appears to be a whisper of reflection nebulosity near HD 130079, I assume the cloud is part of the system that gave birth to the star?

Played with a number of processing options including using some Ha to tame the stars a little, also Luminance to provide more punch, but neither option seemed to work as well as RGB - only about 2 hours on target at the moment, so will no doubt go back and collect more once the weather passes.
