Description

I was very close to name this image the "Hulk SHO Edition" 

Similar to my "greenish" version on the eastern part of the Veil Nebula (see below) I again used this color scheme for the western part.


I already gave some explanation to that in my other image - and it's the same here:
The signal of the nebula structures is beside H-Alpha also very strong in the range of OIII and SII. Rarely the objects shine over all three narrowband bands so intensely that structures are visible in addition to the color information. The Veil Nebula complex is an exception. The color composition follows the classic Hubble scheme and emphasizes all three color lines in equal intensities. 

The result is a magnificent color blend that nicely shows how the hydrogen alpha is mixed with the doubly ionized oxygen and the sulfur dioxide.
