Description

Bit of a throwback to last year and one I hope to reprocess down the road. Some of my edit skills have improved since then, but I wanted to be sure to include it here.
Located within Cygnus and an absolute beauty, whether done widefield or close up and personal. This is only image I've ever printed and it currently hangs in the radiation suite at Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton, Ontario.

I'm not a flower kinda gal, but there's something to learn from them. They thrive through the harshest conditions, blooming with grace. Symbolic of the journey they had in the days, months, or years prior. A reminder that even when dormant and seemingly idle, they hold on and persevere. They conserve that stage of goodness, feed off the quality of energy gained; emerging stronger, more fruitful. They share the lesson of The Essence of Time, the value of quality.

A unit of time is not solely based on its duration, but also on the quality of time spent. Are we contributing enough quality into our valued time? The time put into our interests, the mechanics behind it. The time and quality we put into others, into ourselves. Do we invest too little, too much? Do we realize the value behind it all?
The focus on quality, over total time, usually comes at the expense of something. A tough lesson. A loss. A night of bad frames, or several. Evaluate, adjust. Life issues force the same, it changes perspective. A 40hr stack is marvelous. If it's 40hrs of trailed, badly focused stars...maybe not so much.

What we inject into our data is no different that the life we cherish. Make sure you're giving yourself all the ight chances, to emerge the best version. Our time here is so much more than a final tally.
"...If something or someone doesn't contribute to your happiness, it doesn't deserve your time..." These are some wise words that stuck
