Description

NGC 2867 in the Southern Constellation of Carina .Taken with 110 lights at 5 secs .19 Darks , no flats or Bias. Total of 9 min 10 sec.

On Fools day 1834 John Herschel discovered this Planetary Nebula. John was almost fooled into thinking it was a planet? Hence the name I have called it

I note it has a similar colour to Uranus???A quick search of Astobin found no other images of this celestial wonder so here is the first occurrence . Enjoy
