After attending AIC 2019 in San Jose, my wife and I took some time to visit Big Sur. The skies were darker than anything I had ever experienced, but I had no telescope with me. So I decided to attempt a shot with nothing but a camera and a tripod. I was really surprised by the result. Since this is such a wide field shot there are lots of things to find in this nebulosity rich piece of the sky.
