Description

I'm quite proud of this one mainly because of it's much dimmer magnitude. I typically only shoot much brighter objects and I've been trying to get out of my comfort zone this galaxy season.  I'm also really happy with how the stars turned out. Usually my stars end up very trailed and any light diffraction is in smudges around the star rather than elegant spikes. Yet here we are with several solid spiked stars. I think the main reason for this was the warmer weather has allowed my mount to preform better and me to spend more time outside adjusting framing where needed. Objects like this are completely invisible to my telescope and camera before stacking and I often struggle with framing because of this. However it turned out great! I'm quite happy with the result of this one. One thing that I do wish I did better was my struggle to bring out details and I often overblow important areas like the core of galaxies. Something that only gets better with time I would assume.
