Description

The Crab Nebula is a relatively young supernova remnant in the constellation of Taurus in a distance of about 6500 light years.
On the 4th of July in the year 1054 the light of this massive supernova explosion reached our planet and was visible in the daytime sky for a few weeks, and therefore was even brighter than Venus.
