Description

The Lagoon Nebula is a giant interstellar cloud in the constellation Sagittarius. It is classified as an emission nebula and as an H II region. It lies at a distance of 4,077 light years.

From my back yard, my southern sky is about a whole bortle point brighter than the rest of the sky. I'm not sure how to deal with that yet.
