Description

Also designated Caldwell 9, the Cave Nebula is a defuse nebula in the Cepheus constellation. Sh2-155 is an area of ionized Hydrogen II with ongoing start formation about 2,400 light-years from earth. It lies near the edge on the Cepheus B cloud, which is part of the Cepheus molecular cloud.
