Description

NGC281 is a bright nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is approximately 10,000 light years from us, lying in the Perseus arm of our Milky Way. It is an active star forming region. The open cluster IC1590 is located in the central part of the NGC281 nebulosity. The energy from this cluster helps provides additional ionization of the gases.

Data was acquired over a three night span.
