Description

IC 2574, also known as Coddington's Nebula, is a dwarf spiral galaxy discovered 1898. Located in Ursa Major it is an outlying member of the M 81 group of galaxies.
It is believed that 90% of its mass is in the form of dark matter. IC 2574 does not show evidence of interaction with other galaxies.

IC 2574 is situated close to the northern celestial pole and, as such, it is visible for most part of the year from the northern hemisphere.

I found this one adorable, like a sitting mouse or squirrel in form!
This is a Bortle 6 backyard image and painful to acquire!! This was incredibly faint and the 300s subs barely showed any structure! I went on faith and managed to pull this much details out of it, a tough one to do!

Thank you to @Gary Imm  for the idea and inspiration!
