Description

The horse head fog is a 3 light years large part of a dark cloud in the constellation

Orion, which is in front of the red glowing emission nebula IC 434 with a silhouette

similar a horse's head lifts off. The mist from Earth is approximately 1500 light years

away.

Hubble palette R = H, G = H, B = SII, in this respect a bicolor

Taken in 2x2 binning with the Meade LX200-16 inch EMC, reduced to

f = 2500 with the Starizona corrector.

16 x 600sec per channel.
